The Dead Don’t Die

If you only see one zombie movie in your lifetime… well, I don’t know what to tell you…

But if you only see three zombie movies, make sure one of them is Jim Jarmush’s The Dead Don’t Die.

There are so many reasons I loved this movie. Among them, not the top reason, but way up there, was the DAY-FOR-NIGHT final stand off scene. I mean, who shoots DAY-FOR-NIGHT anymore? But honestly, how else are you going to see all the zombies?

Also, when it comes to actors, I’m ready to see just about anything featuring either Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, or Tom Waits. Throw in Carol Kane, Iggy Pop, RZA, and that kid from Everything Sucks? My butt’s in a theater opening weekend.

Also, that new guy. Adam Driver? I think he could be going places.
